I am more than 12 weeks pregnant.
I have fetal anomaly symptoms.

In the Czech Republic, abortion for fetal anomaly reasons is legal up to 24 weeks of pregnancy (counted from the first day of your last period). Costs depend on the length of hospitalization required. To learn more, contact us and we’ll provide you with all the necessary information: ciocia_czesia@protonmail.com

I don’t have fetal anomaly symptoms.

In the Czech Republic, abortion, regardless of the reason, is legal up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. After 12 weeks and without fetal anomaly reasons, assistance can be provided by Ciocia Basia in Germany (up to 14 weeks), Ciocia Wienia in Austria (up to 14 weeks), Abortion Network Amsterdam in the Netherlands (up to 22 weeks), or ASN in England (up to 24 weeks). Each of these organizations employs Polish-speaking staff who will help you organize your trip and provide financial support if needed.

I don’t have a permanent residence in an EU country.

Our trusted clinic can provide care up to the 12th week of pregnancy if:

  • You are a citizen of a non-EU country and have permanent residence in Poland, including a PESEL number.
  • You are a Ukrainian citizen who does not have permanent residence in Poland but holds UKR status (temporary protection). You will need the mObywatel app showing your current status.

You can also still access abortion pills and have a medical abortion at home. To do so, contact Women Help Women.

However, if you are already past the 12th week of pregnancy and would like to access a surgical abortion, you can get support from Ciocia Basia in Germany (up to 14 weeks), Ciocia Wienia in Austria (up to 14 weeks), Abortion Network Amsterdam in the Netherlands (up to 22 weeks), or ASN in England (up to 24 weeks).

Below we compare two methods of abortion, surgical (vacuum) and medical, so that you can make an informed decision.

Surgical abortionMedical abortion
It involves inserting a narrow tube into the uterus and suctioning its contents, and is performed under general or local anaesthesia. It’s similar to a natural miscarriage, or in the later weeks, a rapid labour.
The procedure is performed in a healthcare facility. The procedure is performed by a medical professional (e.g., a doctor or midwife). The process happens at home or in any other environment that you know and is safe, in the presence and support of a close person.
The entire procedure takes about 4 hours, but the abortion itself takes about 15 minutes. The abortion process may take longer than one day.
Pain may occur during the procedure performed under local anaesthesia. Pain related to uterine contractions also occurs after the procedure, regardless of the type of anaesthesia. The pain can last for 2-3 hours or longer.
Serious complications are rare (approx. 0.23%) if the procedure is performed professionally by a well-trained healthcare worker.Dangerous complications are rare (around 2%).
A shorter bleeding period after the procedure.A longer bleeding period after the procedure that can last even up to a few weeks.
Effectiveness: 95-100%.Effectiveness: 95-98%.
You won’t see any pregnancy tissue. You can notice pregnancy tissue.
If you want a surgical abortion, contact us: ciocia_czesia@protonmail.comTo get a medical abortion kit contact the organisation Women on Web or Women help Women. After making a donation (the suggested amount is 75€) the delivery should take about 2 weeks.
